PROTRADECRAFT @ Show Village | OUTDOOR EXHIBITS

ProTradeCraft, the only technical journal built for phones, comes to life at the 2023 International Builders’ Show in Show Village.

Animation is the “classroom” portion, where Dan Morrison, editor of ProTradeCraft, and other instructors use animations and videos to teach basic construction concepts covering the ‘what’ and the ‘why’ of Resilient Construction and Design.

Shop class is a construction demonstration stage where attendees watch professional carpenters demonstrate HOW to construct what was covered in the academics portion. We’ll cover rain-screen wall systems, wildfire resistance, and other extreme climate preparedness.

The ProTradeCraft Skills Challenge is where audience members can test their own skills and compete for medals. The Challenge obstacle course includes “standard” skills tests, like Walking the Plates, Bending a Kickout Flashing, A Cladding-Nailing Challenge, Sealing a Rim Joist, and Jobsite TikTok Dancing.
